Europe has the biggest football talents around the world, and every footballer fancies playing on the continent.

European football is the real deal, and the best attackers in the world mostly play there unless they are in Saudi Arabia trying to make some money.

At the moment, several attackers are shining in the 2024/2025 season, and most of them are meeting expectations because they have been world-class attackers for several years.

Others have shocked us with their form because we did not expect so much from them at the start.

In the last few weeks, some players have unexpectedly stood out. In this article, we will comb through Europe to name the hottest attackers who have made it a habit to score every time they are on the pitch.

We have deliberately omitted the likes of Harry Kane and Erling Haaland because these are big-name stars who we inevitably expect to get on the score sheet every time we watch them play.

However, there are other players on the continent at the moment who are powering their way into being in the same category as those established attackers.

In no particular order and not considering if they are favourites to win the Golden Boot like the Premier League’s, we have listed the attackers that are too hot to handle now.

Jonathan David, Lille

Players usually seem uninterested in performing well for their club when they are in the final season of their contracts, and no one would have been surprised if that was the case for David.

The Canadian will be out of contract in the summer, and Lille seems to have replaced him with Mohamed Bayo in their squad.

Ademola Lookman, Atalanta

Lookman is being tipped to win the next African Player of the Year, and when you watch him play, you will hardly argue against that.

The Nigerian was in fine form last season and ended the campaign with that stunning hat trick in the final of the Europa League.

Considering that he is not a striker, most people would expect him to go back to playing his role as a normal attacker.

However, fans who buy Atalanta tickets do so because there is a good chance it would be a Lookman show.

The Nigerian has bagged six goals and four assists in his first eight Serie A games this season, and he has had two strikes and one assist in the Champions League.

Viktor Gyokeres, Sporting Clube

Many clubs would regret not adding Viktor Gyokeres to their squad in the summer because the Swede proved too good to ignore last term.

He scored at least 48 goals in all competitions for Sporting Club, even though it was only his first season on their books.

However, clubs wanted him to prove that he could do it again and the attacker has been unstoppable.

Gyokeres has already scored 16 goals in just 10 league games, and in the Champions League, he has scored five times in four games, including that brace against Manchester City.
