The Premier League teens we want to watch more in 2025/2026
The Premier League is home to the best football clubs in the world, and there is no shortage of teenagers at these clubs.
Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United led the way in giving teenagers game time in the recently finished season.
These clubs have continued to trust teenage stars even though they have some expensive players who cost them a lot of money to sign.
Arsenal is one of those clubs that has worked really hard to build a superb academy, and this term, they had at least two breakout stars in their squad.
However, we can say the same thing for the top clubs, even though not many teenagers contributed to Liverpool winning the Premier League crown.
Manchester United and Manchester City also gave some teenagers chances during the season, and most of them are expected to develop into world-class stars.
In this article, we discuss some of the finest players who could help their team sell more Premier League tickets next season.
Rio Ngumoha, 16, Liverpool
Liverpool pulled off a major transfer coup when they snapped up Ngumoha from Chelsea last year, paying six figures for the 16-year-old.
Because of Brexit, teams are focused on landing the top English talents, and Ngumoha played from the start of Liverpool’s FA Cup win against Accrington Stanley and impressed.
Next season, he would get more first team chances and we would love to see him play some league games.
Trey Nyoni, 17, Liverpool
Despite the arrival of Ngumoha, Nyoni is still considered one player who will sell many Liverpool tickets as a first-team regular in the future.
The 17-year-old earned his first team debut under Jurgen Klopp, and Arne Slot still thinks he is a brilliant player to develop.
Last term, he played in five cup games for the Reds, including one in the Champions League. We want to see him more.
Ethan Nwaneri, 18, Arsenal
Even though Arsenal may have gifted Liverpool the Premier League title, Ethan Nwaneri helped them secure a second-place finish in the league standings.
The attacker was on the team when Bukayo Saka was injured, ensuring they continued to sell Arsenal tickets with some really outstanding performances.
He scored four times and provided two assists in the Premier League, coupled with five more goals in the EFL Cup and the Champions League combined.
Josh Acheampong, 19, Chelsea
Despite owning one of the largest squads in the Premier League, Chelsea remains committed to promoting players from their famed academy.
They currently have graduates all over the world, and Acheampong is one of the stars to watch.
Originally a defender, he did well when played in midfield against Djurgarden in the Conference League semifinal and he is certainly one of the stars we want to see more often next term.
Tyrique George, 19, Chelsea
What a player George is, and the 19-year-old will surely feature more for Chelsea next season.
He played in eight league games and 13 Europa Conference League matches, including starting the semifinal, scoring twice and providing five assists in all competitions. He is a star in the making and will benefit from Enzo Maresca’s bold decisions.
Ayden Heaven, 18, Manchester United
In the last few months, the Red Devils have been wooing some of the best talents from other clubs in the country to sell more Manchester United tickets.
Heaven joined them from Arsenal, the second teenager to make the move within a short period of time, and he was given a debut in all competitions in the few months he spent there.
The defender played six competitive matches for United before the season ended, despite joining them in January and suffering an injury which kept him out for weeks.
Chido Obi, 17, Manchester United
United also poached Chido Obi from Arsenal this term. Obi is famed for scoring seven goals in a youth game.
It is baffling that Arsenal let him join United, and he has been given the game time that the Gunners insist he was not mature enough to get.
Next term, he will play more games and we are eager to see if he can replicate the goalscoring form he showed at the youth level in the senior Premier League.
Archie Gray, 19, Tottenham
Tottenham has some really exciting talents in their squad and Gray is one of them as he shines at the back for them.
Gray is originally a midfielder, but as a teenager, he can play many roles, and Spurs’ injury crisis forced them to use him in defence.
The 19-year-old proved his class and was so good that most people would think he is a defender.
He played in 28 league games, seven domestic cup games and 11 Europa League games as Tottenham won the continental honour.
Gray will get more game time under Thomas Frank, and Tottenham fans should be excited about his future.
Lucas Bergvall, 19, Tottenham
Bergvall is another terrific player on the Tottenham team, and the teenager is a player we hope to see more often next term.
He broke into the first team faster than most people expected him to, but he looked comfortable in midfield and delivered many fearless performances for the Lilywhites this term.
His memorable game would be scoring the only goal in the Carabao Cup semifinal first leg against Liverpool.
Bergvall missed the Europa League final against Manchester United because of an ankle injury, but he will play many Champions League games for Spurs next term.
Lewis Miley, 19, Newcastle United
Newcastle United is now one of the richest teams in the Premier League, so they can afford to sign top players to improve their squad.
However, they also have some fine talents coming through the ranks and most fans expect Miley to sell a lot of Newcastle tickets in the future.
The midfielder did not play a lot of games this season, but with the return of Champions League football next season, we expect that to change.
